Joy loves doing this. There is a foot or so break in the end of Papa’s chair where there is no fabric covering the chair. Joy likes putting a blanket here, and letting herself fall through, effectively making the nest a kind of bag or nest to enclose herself in.

Here, you can see Joy interacting with a live exhibit. As you can see, this is a bug. A giant hissing cockroach to be exact. I was a little grossed out, but Joy loved it. Just look at her expression of open curiosity!
We also walked around outside, including on the National Mall where there is a Merry-Go-Round. It was an all-around fun day!
Joy makes such a cute kitty, doesn’t she? She chose to be a kitty for Halloween months ago.
She has had a great day today. First, we went to the Pentagon City Mall, where they had trick-or-treating. Joy was very excited to get so much candy, and she also enjoyed check out other people’s costumes. After the mall, we came back home and trick-or-treated around hallways in our building.
